Rick,Thanks for the

Rick,Thanks for the quick reply! I have a couple more qnietsous about this process. Are there any academic requirements i must meet to transfer to the JUCO? I am struggling with two classes at my current school, and will probably have to retake the courses. This May bring me below a 2.0 GPA for the fall. Will that affect my ability to transfer to the JUCO in the spring? will I be eligible to play next fall if i get good grades this spring? Also, are there any restrictions on contacting JUCO coaches? Can i go ahead and start contacting them to let them know i am interested in their program? by Elsayed posted on Monday, March 31, 2014

Hi Rick. I am a freshman foltbaol player at a D1-FCS school. I am on scholarship and I am a redshirt. I am not happy at my school and I wish to transfer from here and go to another school. In my opinion, transferring to a JUCO would be my best move, since i will not have to sit out a year and I can be re-recruited. My question is, is my idea best for me? And should I transfer next fall or go ahead and transfer this upcoming spring semester? Thanks in advance! by Sheikh posted on Sunday, October 25, 2015

Hi Rick,I attended a D3 my fasrhmen year and participated in fall ball but sat out the spring season because I planned to transfer. At my new school also a D3 I participated in fall ball but was forced to leave mid semester. I plan on playing for a local JUCO this spring. After that what would I have to do to regain immediate eligibility at each level (D1,D2, and D3)?Thank you its really appreciated,Mike by Ibrahim posted on Sunday, October 25, 2015

Hi Evan, As a transf

Hi Evan, As a transfer beweetn two-year colleges, you should be able to play football next Fall if you have done well academically at your current school. You would be considered a sophomore for athletic reasons, since it would be your 2nd year of college. You could redshirt if your coach will agree to your request.Rick by Priscilla posted on Saturday, December 19, 2015
